Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So, here's a little conversation that Ainsley and I had when she got in the car after preschool this afternoon. :-)

Ainsley: "Mommy! I saw a leprechaun today!"
Me: "Really? Wow!"
A: "Well, I really didn't see it. But, I know it was in our class today."
M: "How do you know that?"
A: "Well, when we got back to our classroom after lunch, all of our chairs were turned over. There were foot prints on the floor and the counters too. He made a big mess!"
M: "It sure does sound like he made a mess!"
A: "He even moved all of our gumballs." (That's their behavior chart.)
M: "That wasn't very nice of him." (Laughing at this point.)
A: "And, Mommy! He must have had to go potty too."
M: "How do you know that?"
A: "Because there was green pee in the toilet and he didn't flush it! He was a very naughty little leprechaun."

I couldn't help but laugh and agree with her. Yes, that little leprechaun sure was naughty!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I love the recount!! Man, are boys and girls different. It was like pulling teeth to get Robbie to even mention that they had a leprachaun in their class. But I eavesdropped on one of the girls and heard all about it. Love Ainsley's reaction!!
