Turkey Day!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We traveled to Greensboro and made the rounds up there. Wednesday, we spent at the Alberty's working outside and in the attic getting Christmas decorations down. A and C had a blast playing with one of their dogs, Buff. They helped Nana make taco soup for dinner, too. They're great little chefs!

Thursday was busy! Thanksgiving lunch at my Grandmother's; Thanksgiving dinner with the Albertys. (Yep, that's 2 Turkey Day meals in a matter of hours!)

Friday, Daddy spent some time helping Pap-paw put up Christmas lights on their house. Then he helped cut down a couple of trees. EEK! While they were busy working, the girls and I headed for some socializing. We visited with my mom where the girls (as usual) had fun feeding the chickens. They played in a leaf pile too. :) Then we headed over to my dad's. We got there just in time to go on a walk into the woods to help put out some feed for the local deer population. Dad hooks up a still camera to a tree so he can get some awesome pics of the wildlife on his property. My dad has a yellow lab so the girls got some more doggie loving there too! A and C thought that was a pretty neat trip!

We got home Friday night and worked on our own Christmas lights over the weekend. I'll post a pic of our work soon. :-)
