What a week!

Our girls have had a pretty big week. Here's how it's gone, with pictures.

First off, Ainsley got her ears pierced. She'll be the first to admit that it hurt and that she cried a bit, but almost a week out from it and she loves them! We've not had a single problem with them. I've been cleaning them 2-3 times a day with the cleaner the store provided. We're so proud of how well she's handled all of it. She'd been asking to have her ears pierced for several months!
The "before" shot.

The "after" shot. She's smiling, but the picture didn't come out so well.

Cadence's big news is that she got her first hair cut today. After 2 years and 10 months, we figured it was time! I didn't get a good "after" shot of the back, though. It looks so pretty all shaped up and even. There is even some curl left too! Yay!

First Day vs. Last Day

Ainsley and Cadence had their last day of preschool this week. While most of the kids in Ainsley's class will be moving up to Kindergarten in the fall, Ainsley will be returning to preschool for one more year. She participated in the graduation ceremonies though. :-) Here are some pictures to show how much both of them have grown over the school year.

Oak Island in May

We had a great long weekend at Oak Island last week. Here are some highlights of the girls in the water. It was a little too chilly for Matt and I to jump in all the way though. The girls didn't mind a bit!

Ainsley learned how to really ride the boogie boards!

Cadence wanted to get in on the boogie board action too.
